phew...we are 11 days into the school summer holidays...and it's going well so far...
the apple jackets went down really well with the school teachers and assistants on the last day...
since then we have visited my parents in the North East and played some good old board games...
visited Sheffield for a wedding...
and celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary...these Pick N' Mix were our pressie from the little people...lovely
i haven't been up to much 'craftyness' recently...i can usually watch/listen to films in the evening whilst i do a bit of crocheting...but the Olympics need 100% attention!!!
i have managed to tidy up my craft room (spare bedroom) a bit so at least i can find what i need to be getting on with some new crafty projects...
it's lovely to take a step back from my 'term-time' life...it really makes me realise how busy those weeks are with school and clubs etc, so we are enjoying not dashing around and just taking it easy for a while...till the madness starts again!
