Christmas Shenanegans...

a very Merry Christmas to one and all

and may all your dreams come true in 2013...

it's the last day of the year today and the Christmas holidays have been lovely so far...mild illness has hit our house, but nothing bad enough to stop fun being had...

it's been absolutely wonderful not knowing what day of the week it is and eating anything that comes out of a square tin...

crafting has been stiring here with major room swaps planned for January - this had meant i have been speeding on with Miss T's granny a day blanket...photos to follow

we stay in on New Years Eve and have our AGM...think i may have blogged about this before...but we sit down with a notebook and talk about the good and bad things of the year gone and what we are most looking forward to in the coming year...we love it...and most people we tell think we are bonkers or a bit 'sad'...but this comes about after having a really pants year in 2007 and sitting and chatting about it on New Years Eve - we had 1 year old twins then and a 4 year old, and with no family near we didn't feel we could ask anyone to babysit...so...the AGM was born and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT...

so heres to a fresh page and sharpened pencil...

Happy New Year everyone

  2. I love the idea of an AGM, we have had a tough few weeks recently and after reading about your AGM I remembered all the great things we have done over 2012. Not such a bad year after all. Also, I love the lampshade at the top of the tree - cute and quirky! Hope you have an amazing 2013. x

  3. A great idea. I like taking control of events and looking at all the good stuff makes you feel sane again especially when the kids are at tough ages.

    Happy New Year
