2 posts in 2 days...surely not....what a treat!!!
just wanted to share my car booty finds and also project pom pom...the pyrex set was £3...bargain...and the lamp was £7...i LOVE it...
project pom pom is 53cm X 70cm...i initially made it to sell at the next Clutter City craft fair, but so much time has gone into making it...i'm thinking that i would like it to be my bare feet that stand on it first thing in the morning...so it's mine all mine...
(i think!)
we are going on holiday tomorrow for a week, to Hampton, we are doing a house-swap with our friends there, who will enjoy lovely Norfolk for a week...we did this last year, and it was such a fantastic, cheap holiday...the only problem was that doing the swap meant we didn't actually see our friends!!
have a good week everyone...
Wowsers! Excellent array of car booty, I never find anything that good at the boot sale! Nice one. LOVE the pom pom project too- looks perfect for bare toes. Happy holidaying! x
ReplyDeleteThank you Kath - hope the move goes well! we haven't been to a car boot in absolutely ages...actually since the biggest of the small people was in a pushchair (7 years ago...)i can't believe it's been that long - we used to get up early and go every weekend before the little people were on the scene...so i'm very pleased with my purchases...prices seem to have gone up a bit tho for some things...the little ones spotted a few toys/teddies priced at 50p and i'm sure once upon a time those would have been 20p!!!!!! XX
ReplyDelete*drool* I know what my next project will be! Pom pom rug! Although the cat may run away with it...
ReplyDeleteGreat car booty. The pom pom rug looks beautiful and so soft for early morning feet. Have a good week away. x
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you don't want to sell the pom pom rug - it's just so scrummy, perfect for scrunching your toes into! Make me one, make me one!! I haven't been to a car boot since last summer. Must get to one before the season is over. I am particularly looking for a lobster pot stool, not sure I will get one though. xx
ReplyDeleteI love the pom pom rug and would so love to have one.The thought of toes sinking in to its all embracing pom pom-ness is delicious!
ReplyDeletehi urban rustic, i must admit i haven't let my toes sink into the rug because if i do, then i won't be able to put it on my stall at the craft fair tomorrow...but if i end up bringing it home, then i might just sit all evening with my toes in it!!! xx
