garden pootling...

yesterday we pootled in our garden...it's a tiny garden and yesterday i realised that everytime we move house, our gardens get smaller! when me and Head of Finance decided to rent our first place together, the garden we were faced with was absolutely HUGE...it had 2 big lawns, a massive veg patch and an orchard (forest) area...too big for us really, all we wanted to do was go out and have fun...

our next house was in the city and it had a small, but fair size garden, no grass, but perfect for pot plants and sitting out with friends...

we moved into this house, never knowing if we could have children, so the garden didn't really matter, we loved the house and that was that...a few years down the line...here we are with 3 children and a tiny weeny garden...but we make the most of what we have, and we are very lucky here in Norwich we certainly have some lovely parks...

so yesterday we planted Rocket ("not the blast-off type") and Radishes and Toms, and Peppers and some flowers too...heres hoping our tiny weeny garden blooms...

  1. love the tins of syrup as plant holders.. may have to copy that idea!!!..

we only have a tiny L shaped yard and with two boys it can feel pretty cramped..i would love to have a big back garden but then the thought of having to cut it and look after it does put me off a bit!!
